    “Ä°DEALLERÄ°NÄ°ZDEN VAZGEÇMEYÄ°N”

     MB Holding Yönetim Kurulu BaÅŸkanı Muharrem Balat, Gaziantep Üniversitesi Mühendislik TopluluÄŸunun düzenlediÄŸi “Kariyer Günleri”nde, öÄŸrencilere hayat hikayesinden kesitler anlatarak öÄŸrencilere ideallerinden vazgeçmemelerini nasihat etti.

     Gaziantep Üniversitesi Mühendislik TopluluÄŸunun düzenlediÄŸi “Kariyer Günleri”nin ilk konuÄŸu MB Holding Yönetim Kurulu BaÅŸkanı Muharrem Balat oldu. Ä°nÅŸaat MühendisliÄŸi Fakültesi Konferans Salonu’nda yapılan söyleÅŸide, Muharrem Balat öÄŸrencilerle giriÅŸimcilik hakkında keyifli bir sohbet gerçekleÅŸtirdi.

     ÖÄŸrencilere hayat hikâyesinden kesitler anlatan Muharrem Balat, kendisine yöneltilen sorulara da cevap verdi.  ÖÄŸrencilere ideallerinden vazgeçmemelerini nasihat eden Balat, “Eskiden liseye kayıt olmak, ondan sonra da üniversiteye gidebilmek için belirli bir maddi bir imkân gerekiyordu. Ä°mkânı olmayan öÄŸrenciler ise sanat okullarında okuyordu. Rahmetli babam beni liseye kayda götürdüÄŸünde kayıt alan öÄŸretmen, babama, usta senin maddi imkânın yok, istersen sen çocuÄŸunu sanat okuluna yazdır, dedi. Babam ise benim mühendis olmamı çok istiyordu ve dedi ki: Beyim imkânım olmayabilir ama ben gerekirse ceketimi satar yine oÄŸlumu okuturum, dedi. O gün anladım ki bir ÅŸeyi gerçekten çok arzu ederseniz ve istediÄŸiniz yolda yılmadan, usanmadan yürürseniz bir gün mutlaka hedefinize ulaşırsınız. Üniversite imtihanlarına girdiÄŸimde Teknik Üniversitenin Ä°nÅŸaat MühendisliÄŸi bölümünü kazanan sadece ben oldum.  Bu da ilkokuldan baÅŸlayan bir sürecin devamıdır.” dedi.

     BAÅžARI Ä°ÇÄ°N ROTANIZI DOÄžRUYA DOÄžRU ÇEVÄ°RÄ°N

     Türkiye’nin her gün biraz daha geliÅŸtiÄŸini söyleyen ve yeni neslin kendilerinin dönemine göre daha ÅŸanslı olduÄŸunu dile getiren Balat, “ Türkiye’nin en büyük ÅŸansı genç nüfusudur. Ä°nanıyorum ki siz gençler bu ülkeyi hep daha ileriye götüreceksiniz.” ÅŸeklinde konuÅŸtu.

    BaÅŸarılı bir iÅŸ yaÅŸantısı için doÄŸrudan ÅŸaÅŸmamak gerektiÄŸini savunan Muharrem Balat, “ Sizlere iki nasihatim olacak: Birincisi, rotanızı doÄŸruya çevirin. Çünkü doÄŸrunun müdafaası kolay olur. Hem iÅŸ yaÅŸantınızda hem de beÅŸeri münasebetlerinizde doÄŸruluÄŸu seçin. DoÄŸruların yolundan ilerlerseniz hayatta mutlaka baÅŸarılı olursunuz. Ä°kincisi ise; iÅŸinize, eÅŸinize ve aşınıza sahip çıkın.” diye konuÅŸtu.

"DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR GOALS"

MB Holding Chairman of the Board Muharrem Balat, who participated in "Career Days" organized by Engineering Society of Gaziantep University, told students not to give up on their goals by giving examples from his own life.

The first guest of "Career Days", organized by Engineering Society of Gaziantep University, was MB Holding Chairman of the Board Muharrem Balat. In the speech held in Civil Engineering Faculty Conference Hall, Muharrem Balat had a pleasant chat with the students about entrepreneurship.

Telling some stories from his own life, Muharrem Balat answered the questions posed to him. Telling them not to give up on your goals, Balat said "In the past, you needed to have a certain amount of money to be able to enroll a high school and then go to college. The ones whose financial situations were not good enough, used to study in vocational high schools. When my late father took me to the high school to enroll, a teacher said "Your financial situation is not good, send your child to a vocational school." My father always wanted me to be an engineer, and he said "Sir, my financial situation may not be good enough, but I can even sell my jacket to send him to  this school." That day, I understood that if you want something so much, and work insistently, you will definitely reach your goal one day. When I took the university exam, I was the only one who got accepted into Civil Engineering Faculty of the Technical University. This is a continuity of the process starting from elementary school."

KEEP DOING THE RIGHT THING TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Stating that Turkey had been developing each day, and the new generation was more fortunate than theirs, Balat said "Turkey's biggest chance is its young population. I believe that you are going to take this country one step forward constantly."

Claiming that the key to have a successful business life was doing the right thing, Muharrem Balat continued as follows: "I have two suggestions for you: The first one is always keep doing the right thing to be successful because it is easier to defend the right. Always choose the right thing in both your work life and human relations. If you keep following the truth, you will be definitely successful in your life. The second one is: Look after your job, spouse, and food."
